Announcement of New President & CEO of A&D Company, Limited

Dear valued A&D customers,

It is with profound sadness that we announce that former President & CEO of A&D, Hikaru Furukawa, passed away on the early morning
of the 14th of July, 2016. Mr. Furukawa founded A&D Company, Limited in 1977 and deserves recognition for his lifelong contribution to
the company. He was always focused on growing the company and intent on spreading A&D around the globe. He contributed to the
development of the industrial, automotive and healthcare sectors through innovation, creativity and a passion for excellence. We offer our
very best wishes for his peaceful departure, honoring his memory, passion and vision.

On July 14, 2016 the A&D Board of Directors promoted Yasunobu Morishima to the position of President & CEO. Mr. Morishima had been
acting as the interim President & CEO recently while Mr. Furukawa was suffering from an illness. Mr. Morishima is a longtime executive
board member and founding member of the company. He worked closely with Furukawa to develop and expand A&D business worldwide
over the past 40 years.

Under the new leadership and steady hand of Mr. Morishima, we will continue our commitment to making A&D a truly global company
that contributes to the betterment of people and institutions around the world.
